My name is Rhonda Stitley and I live in Douglasville, Georgia.  I have been happily married to my husband Mark for 30 years.  I have four children, Amanda, Nathan, Nicholas, and Nolan, as well as two grand-daughters, Raylee and McKenzie.  Nathan graduated from the University of Georgia, Nicholas graduated from Georgia Southern University, and Nolan is currently a junior at the University of Georgia.  Go Dawgs!!  I enjoy reading, decorating, watching football, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

This will be my 11th year of teaching.  I believe that teaching is not just a career, but a true calling. It is great knowing that I can have a positive impact in a child's life.  I continually strive to provide a learning environment that is enjoyable, nurturing, and challenging, so that my students may reach their highest potential each and every day.  I believe that all students can learn and grow if given the right tools and opportunities, and can achieve academic excellence.  The highlight of my teaching career was being named Teacher of the Year in 2010.

I believe that communication is vital and should be continual throughout the school year. I would like to keep an open line of communication between all my students and parents.  Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns at rhonda.stitley@carrollcountyschools.com or you may call the school and leave a message and I will promptly return your call.

I am so thankful to be a part of the Providence family.  Go Tigers! Show your Providence Pride!
