I graduated from the University of West Georgia in the Spring of 2019. I have my Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in special education and also hold a Georgia teaching certificate.

At the University of West Georgia, I completed my internship at Central Elementary school in a SPED resource room. Over the course of the year that I was there, I attented meetings, took over my cooperating teacher's class, and built strong relationships with the students. Also, during my time in my course study, I lead tutoring sessions for elementary students at West Georgia's Comprehensive Community Clinic. There, I planned sessions, assessments, and conferences for both the literacy and math clinic.

I cannot wait to begin my first year of teaching at Providence Elementary! I will be a SPED teacher here at PES. I just recieved my bachelors degree in early childhood education, but look forward to starting my master's in the near future. I currently reside in Carroll County and plan to for a while, since it has always been home to me!

While I love finding things to do around home, I also love to travel to see new things! My dream road trip would be going to Colorado to visit the Grand Canyon. Hopefully soon I can knock that off my bucket list! A few other things you should know about me include my love for the outdoors, animals, plants, the Georiga Bulldogs, concerts, Reese's peanut butter cups, and books! You can always find me doing one of those things when I am out of the classroom.

My excitement for the 2019-2020 school year is unmeasureable and I know this year is going to be amazing!
