Providence Elementary School is one of 24 schools that make up the Carroll County School System. The Carroll County School District is primarily a rural district situated approximately 50 miles from Atlanta, Georgia. The district is comprised of five regular highs schools, six middle schools, twelve elementary schools, a charter college and career academy, an alternative school and an open campus high school. Providence Elementary School is a rural school located in Temple, Georgia and opened the doors the first time for the 2010-2011 school year with 390 students. Last year, the enrollment at Providence Elementary School was 422 students. The school serves students Pre-K through grade five of the Temple Cluster in the Carroll County School District. Other schools in the Temple Cluster include Temple Elementary School, Sharp Creek Elementary, Temple Middle School, and Temple High School.
